Hooks, captions & hashtags — ready to post.

HookNest is a publishing assistant for TikTok: describe your video (or bring the words from it) and get three caption styles, six honest hooks, relevance-checked hashtags and cover text in a live phone preview. It helps you publish well — it never predicts rankings or promises reach.

Captions — three styles, all editable

Feeds typically show roughly the first 150 characters before “more” — the marker under each caption shows where that point falls. It is guidance, not a platform limit.

Hooks — six types, each with its honesty condition

A hook is only honest if the video delivers what it promises. Every card below says what your video must actually show. Where HookNest doesn’t know a fact (like your result), it leaves a [bracketed placeholder] for you — it never invents numbers or results.

Hashtags — chosen for relevance, not hype

Built on a five-slot framework: exact topic · broader category · audience / use-case · format · your brand. Three to five strong, relevant tags beat thirty random ones. Toggle any tag off; the checklist below re-checks your selection live. HookNest shows no popularity numbers — it doesn’t have verified data, and invented numbers would be lies.

What a finished pack looks like

A worked example — a home-repair video, described in one sentence.

    Caption · Hook-first

Still struggling with a leaking tap? Watch this before you call a plumber. I swap the worn washer step by step, using tools already in the kitchen drawer. Save this one for later, and follow for the next fix.

    Hook · Mistake type

“The one mistake everyone makes with a leaking tap.”

Video must deliver: show the mistake and the corrected way.

    Hashtags · 4 selected

    #FixLeakingTap #DIYHome #BeginnerFriendly #Tutorial

Exact topic, broader category, audience, format — one per slot, nothing generic.

    How it works

    1

    Describe, upload or link

Say what your video is about, or bring its words — paste a transcript or attach a caption file. A link is kept as a reference note only.

    2

    Review honest outputs

Three captions, six hook types with their delivery conditions, cover text on a live phone preview, and hashtags that must pass an 8-point relevance checklist.

    3

    Copy, paste, publish

Every box has its own copy button. Take the pack into TikTok, post it yourself, and keep the downloaded file as your record.

    Questions, answered honestly

Will these hashtags make my video go viral or rank?

No tool can promise that, and HookNest won’t pretend to. Hashtags help TikTok understand what your video is about. Relevant, accurate tags give it the best chance of reaching the right viewers — reach itself depends on the video, watch time and your audience. Anyone selling you a “viral score” is inventing numbers.

    Why only 3–5 hashtags?

Because each one should describe this exact video. One precise topic tag, one broader category, one audience tag and one format tag tell the platform more than a wall of generic tags like #fyp or #viral, which describe nothing and are never included here.

Does HookNest transcribe my uploaded video?

Not in this version. Your upload is used for the cover-text preview only, and it never leaves your device. If you want captions and hooks built from the actual words, paste the transcript or attach the .srt / .vtt / .txt caption file — that path is built in.

Why does a hook card say “your video must deliver”?

Because a hook that promises something the video doesn’t show is clickbait, and viewers leave. Each of the six hook types states the condition that keeps it honest — show the result, answer the question, demonstrate the step.

Is it really free? Where does my information go?

Yes — free, no sign-up, no account. Everything runs locally in your browser; your description, transcript and video are not uploaded anywhere by this page.
